Sex on the Slopes

This recipe for the book’s signature drink was provided by Carol Woodruff. Carol won the “Sex on the Slopes” recipe contest.

  • 1 cup strong, full-bodied coffee
  • 1 tbsp. or 1/2 single serving pkg. cocoa mix (the richer and more decadent the mix, the better!)
  • 1 oz. Kahlua

Combine ingredients in an Irish coffee glass. Top with lots of whipped cream. Garnish with shaved chocolate, shaved peppermint stick candy, a maraschino cherry, or whatever else tickles your fancy.

 

Fire and Ice Cocktail

  • 1 oz. Goldschläger cinnamon schnapps
  • 1 oz. Baileys Irish cream liqueur

Pour the cinnamon schnapps into a shot glass. Using a bar spoon (or long-handled spoon), let the Irish cream run down the back of the spoon to form a layer atop the schnapps.

 

Slippery Slope Cocktail

  • 1 oz. Godiva Original Liqueur
  • 1 oz. Baileys Irish cream
  • 1 oz. whole milk
  • Crushed ice

Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Shake well (should be frothy). Pour into a wineglass.

 

Bad-Boy Cocktail

  • 1 oz. Alizé Gold
  • 1 oz. peach schnapps
  • 1 oz. raspberry schnapps
  • 3 oz. peach or passion fruit juice

Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Shake well, and pour over ice cubes into a highball glass.
